The Chairman of the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee, introduced a bill (S. 2796) to establish partnerships between the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and various community organizations to connect with underserved veterans. When selecting community organizations to partner with VA, priority will be given to those groups that reach out to rural veterans, minority veterans, and other underserved populations.
