The Army's Wounded Warrior Program (AW2) has expanded its criteria to allow more severely wounded, ill and injured servicemembers to participate in the program. Soldiers with a combined disability rating of 50 percent will be eligible for the program as long as the injuries are combat-related. Soldiers with a disability rating of 30 percent for a single injury or illness, whether or not it is combat-related, still remain eligible for the program. Newly-eligible Soldiers will be contacted by AW2 to enroll. For more information, visit the Wounded Warrior Program (AW2) website.
