Military Recruiting Programs

The Siemens PLM USA Veterans Initiative Program is a regional productivity program targeted at veterans of the U.S. armed forces to develop their skills in STEM-related careers (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).

Siemens PLM (product lifecycle management) software will provide scholarships to cover the cost of instructor-led training classes executed at our Siemens PLM software universities. There are four computer-aided design (CAD) courses, three computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) courses and four team center PLM courses to choose from; the courses range from 2-5 days.

All veterans who meet the program criteria are eligible to participate. For the prospective student, the requirements are that you:

  • Must be a United States veteran (served in any branch of the U.S. military)
  • Are transitioning from the military to the civilian workforce, underemployed, unemployed or a current active-duty veteran enrolled in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment (VR&E) program
  • Have prior education or experience in engineering, drafting, machining, logistics or supply chain
  • Meet the minimum prerequisites for each course intended to take

Prospective students are admitted on a space-available basis after the registration process. Tuition will be waived, assuming the program participation eligibility criteria are met.
