Air Force Bonus and Incentive Overview

The Air Force offers many incentives for joining; these include cash signing bonuses, education bonuses, and other incentives like housing, health care, and 30 Days paid vacation each year.

Air Force Cash Bonuses

Qualified Enlisted members may be eligible for an Air Force signing bonus in the following fields:

• Airborne Linguist – up to $10,000
• Combat Control – up to $10,000
• Explosive Ordnance Disposal – up to $10,000
• Linguist – up to $10,000
• Pararescue – up to $10,000
• Survival Evasion Rescue Evacuation – up to $10,000
• Tactical Air Command & Control – up to $6,000

Air Force Education Incentives

The College Loan Repayment Program (CLRP)

If you have taken some college courses and have accumulated debt, this program may be for you. Participants must sign up for this program when signing the enlistment contract. Under CLRP, the repayment maximum is $10,000 per recruit.

ASVAB

To join the military, one of the first challenges you will have is to show that you have some basic knowledge and skills by scoring well on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB). The ASVAB is made up of several verbal, math, and technical tests. Your combined score will be one of the determining factors of what jobs will be available to you. However, while the military can get you into peak physical performance, YOU need to train your mind by using the tools provided in our ASVAB section.
