What is a podcast?
Podcasting makes an audiofile, typically an MP3 file, available online for downloading via an automatic "feed" or subscription. You can hear the podcast whenever you want from your computer or mp3 player such as iPod.

Are podcasts free?
Our podcast service is free. The only cost is time -- in downloading the software.

How do I subscribe to a podcast?
To subscribe to a podcast, simply click on our "Get Podcast" links where available. If you are a new user, you will need to download iTunes first to listen to our shows.

If you are a previous user, iTunes will be automatically updated upon clicking on "Get Podcast." Once iTunes is updated you are subscribed to the show and can access the show by either visiting our site OR by accessing iTunes directly.

How do I listen to a podcast?
The basic requirements for podcasting are a computer, podcasting software and an Internet connection (the higher the speed, the better). You can also use any MP3 player (including iPod) to take your favorite shows with you.

To get started, download and install iTunes 6.0 or later software onto your computer. Next, click on any of the shows we feature on our site. Once you've subscribed to a podcast, new episodes will automatically be downloaded to iTunes and, if you're set up for it, your iPod as well. Listen to audio podcasts on your computer and your iPod. What podcasting allows you to do is access our latest shows directly from your computer or iPod without visiting our website.

Do I need iTunes?
Yes. iTunes version 6.0 or later is required.

This is the program that allows you to download, manage, and listen to audio and video podcasts. You can download it for free at http://www.apple.com/itunes/.
