NORFOLK - The Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) Force Master Chief turned over his duties and responsibilities on May 9.
Force Master Chief (EWS/SW) Anthony Santino relinquished his duties to Force Master Chief (EWS/EXW/SW/AW) Farris Foresman.
"It has been an honor to serve with our expeditionary Sailors and to be part of creating an entirely new warfare community for the Navy. I wish to thank NECC leaders at all levels for supporting this organization," said Santino.
Foresman explained his expctations in his new role.
"As force master chief, I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the Sailors assigned to one of the most operational and technically diverse forces in the Navy," said Foresman. "My expectations of our Sailors are that they look out for each other both on and off duty, and to represent the Navy and NECC both professionally and personally and live by the Navy's Core Values."
Foresman is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy, Command Master Chief Course in Newport, R.I., as well as the Keystone Course for Joint Service Senior Enlisted Leaders.
He completed a tour as the command master chief of all Atlantic Fleet explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) forces under EOD Group 2 in Little Creek, Va. During this tour, he filled the senior enlisted leader role during the establishment of Navy Expeditionary Combat Forces Bahrain and Combined Task Force 56.
Santino will retire after 31 years of active duty service in a ceremony May 30.
