CG Medevacs Man With Chest Pain

MOBILE, Ala. - The Coast Guard medevaced a man reportedly suffering from chest pain from a cruise ship, approximately 270 miles south of Dauphin Island, Ala.

A crewmember aboard the Carnival cruise ship Fantasy contacted the Coast Guard requesting a medevac, stating that a 63-year-old man was having chest pain.

Coast Guard Aviation Training Center Mobile launched an HH-60 rescue helicopter and crew, which arrived on scene. The man was taken to U.S.A. Medical Center in Mobile.

His condition is unknown.
