Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., -- More often than not, when Airmen receive orders to move to a new location there are a million questions with no answers in sight, but now with the new housing website, Airmen and their families can find help with just about every question they have.

The website features links to all Air Force bases' sites as well as links to frequently asked questions.

"I think it's a great thing to have now especially with the changes with the Air Force's and our privatization, basically there is a place out military can go now and find information about their next base," said Tina West Housing Manager of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.

According to West, clicking the link to the bases provides Airmen the option of seeing different floor plans in the dorms and base housing.

The website provides info on all housing options including off-base.

"We want to make sure people know they have the option to live off-base and the best way to find a place is to go on the Automated Housing Referral Network site, AHRN.com," West said. "The houses on that website are checked by the housing management office to see if they are suitable for our military."

The objective of the site is to make it easy on Airmen and their families during their transition to a new location by providing information about housing options as well as details about local communities, school districts and local weather among other useful resources.

In addition, the site provides dorm information for unaccompanied Airmen.
