The Washington State Department of Transportation dedicated State Route 529 as the Yellow Ribbon Highway during a ceremony Nov. 5 in Everett, Wash. Naval Station (NAVSTA) Everett personnel, elected officials and community members were present to unveil the new signs that will be posted along the stretch of road, which connects Marysville and Everett, and runs in front of the base. This designation honors all active U.S. military personnel residing and serving in Washington and deployed to foreign assignments.
