The annual Warrior Games, featuring wounded, ill and injured servicemembers and veterans competing in several sporting events, will return to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2012. The U.S. Olympic Committee-hosted games will take place April 30 to May 5. The Defense and Veterans Affairs departments, the USO, the Fisher House Foundation, the Bob Woodruff Foundation and Deloitte also support the event. The Warrior Games event was created in 2010 as an introduction to paralympic sports for injured servicemembers and veterans.
