The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is urging consumers to stop use of Hydroxycut products in order to avoid risk of health problems ranging from jaundice to liver damage. Hydroxycut products are dietary supplements marketed as weight-loss aids. The manufacturer, Iovate, agreed to recall these products from the market. Please see the FDA's news release for a list of the recalled products. If you have used Hydroxycut products, please consult a health care professional if you exhibit symptoms of liver injury, including jaundice (yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes) and brown urine.
