Want to Be an Air Force Nurse?

Officials at the Air Force Personnel Center will conduct the annual Nurse Enlisted Commissioning Program (NECP) board May 13-14, 2008 to select candidates for fall 2008 and spring 2009 start dates. The program offers active-duty enlisted personnel the opportunity to earn a bachelor's degree in a high-need academic major. NECP students will usually complete their degree at a college or university with an Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps detachment. Eligibility requirements are available for review at local base education offices. Once eligibility has been determined, if there are still questions, call DSN 665-2715 or commercial, (210) 565-2715.
