VA Committee Jobs Program Review

The House Veterans' Affairs Economic Opportunity Subcommittee recently conducted a hearing to review two expiring programs at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The expiring programs were (1) the Incarcerated Veterans Training Program (IVTP) and (2) a pilot project to more effectively resolve Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA) claims. The hearing also focused on the Apprenticeship and On-the-Job Training (OJT), Survivors and Dependents Educational Assistance, and the Post-Vietnam Era Veterans' Educational Assistance Programs.
