USN Seeks 'Spirit of Service' Nominations
Week of June 08, 2009
The American Legion will present its ninth annual Spirit of Service Award to an enlisted member of each service at the American Legion's National Convention in Louisville, Kentucky. August 21-27, 2009. Nominees must be E-5 or below, active or reserve. The main criteria of the award is the level and type of off-duty, volunteer community service. U.S. Navy nominations must be received by June 29, 2009, and hard copies can be submitted to Navy Office of Community Outreach, Spirit of Service Award, 5722 Integrity Drive, Millington, TN 38054-5045.
