USAF Marathon Adds New Elements
Week of August 06, 2007
In response to runners' requests, Air Force Marathon race officials have adjusted awards categories for this year's half-marathon race. They are now broken into five-year age increments rather than 10. The change is part of a growing list of new elements for this year's Air Force 60th Anniversary event, which is to be held Sept. 15 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. All participants completing the race will receive a 60th Anniversary commemorative finisher's medal. For more information or to register, visit the United States Air Force Marathon website.
