The Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) and AT&T announced that for the seventh consecutive holiday season, military members underway will be given free phone cards to call loved ones back home. Each Sailor, Marine and Coast Guard member who will be deployed during the December holiday season aboard Navy ships or Coast Guard vessels equipped with AT&T Direct Ocean Service phones will receive a $10 prepaid phone card. Sailors who will be deployed on submarines will also receive a card. NEXCOM expects to distribute nearly 38,000 free phone cards during the holidays.
