TRICARE Maternity Care

If you are pregnant, receiving health care services before, during and after childbirth their associated costs are related to your beneficiary status, how close you live to a military treatment facility (MTF), and your choice of TRICARE program and provider. If you are an active duty servicemember you must receive maternity services at your local MTF or your primary care physician may refer you to a civilian provider. You do not have any cost shares or deductibles for maternity care. If you are enrolled in TRICARE Prime Remote, you may deliver at a local civilian hospital that your regional contractor approves. For more information, read the TRICARE Maternity Care Fact Sheet.
