Defense Department travelers are gearing up for Nov. 30, 2008 when the bank issuing their travel charge cards will switch from Bank of America to Citibank. When travelers receive the new card in August or September of 2008 they need to call and verify their receipt of the new card because the Defense Travel Management Office will track delivery of the cards. Travelers should continue using their Bank of America cards until 11:59 p.m. Nov. 29, 2008. Personal identification numbers for the new Citbank cards will arrive on or around Nov. 1, 2008. For more information, contact your local program manager or visit the Defense Travel Management Office's website.
