Texas Gov. Rick Perry recently signed a bill into law that gives combat veterans rated 100 percent disabled a 100 percent tax break on some property taxes. To qualify, Texas veterans must (1) draw 100 percent disabled benefits and (2) be rated as 100 percent disabled or be rated as individual unemployable. For more information, visit the Texas Veterans' Commission website.
