A recent study found that a considerable percentage of military youth are considered to be at high risk for psychological problems. The study was led by Dr. Eric Flake, a pediatrician at Madigan Army Medical Center. The findings -- published in the August edition of the Journal of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics -- found that 32 percent of the children studied were considered to be at high risk for psychological problems. An abstract of the study is available on the PubMed website.
