Fairleigh Dickinson University's Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurship in New Jersey is set to host its sixth annual Veterans Launching Ventures program. The program is designed to provide the skills and support veterans need to seize entrepreneurial opportunities and open small businesses. It is open to all veterans, as well as their spouses and/or children. Thanks to sponsor support, the $2,000 tuition is waived for all applicants who successfully complete the course. Over a 10-week period, the program introduces entrepreneurship ideas and concepts, and demonstrations how to apply them to potential business opportunities. Each student is matched with a mentor. A refundable deposit of $175 will be required of veterans who participate in the program and will be returned to those who successfully complete the course.
