Sesame Workshop Helps Children

The Sesame Workshop has been working extensively with the Department of Defense to develop and disseminate a DVD kit entitled Talk, Listen, Connect: Deployments, Homecomings, Changes. The kit includes printed material as well as a DVD that includes stories from actual military families, and scenarios involving Sesame Street characters. The Sesame Workshop has also created the Sesame Street Family Connections website to keep children and adults connected when distance makes daily communication difficult. If you would like to order a kit, consisting of a DVD, magazine , poster and postcards, they are free and available to order through Military OneSource. The video and printed materials are also available to download on the Talk, Listen, Connect website.
