The Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DoDDS)-Europe, U.S. Army Europe, and 5th Signal Command is preparing to broadcast l18 high school graduation ceremonies on the Internet, which will be viewed by deployed parents in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations worldwide. Using Web-based technology, parents will also be able to view student messages recorded for the occasion. The graduation ceremonies will take place June 4-11, 2009 with the bulk of ceremonies being webcast live on June 5. A list of participating schools and information on how to access the broadcasts will be available on the DoDDS-Europe website once details are finalized.
