The National Defense Authorization Act of 2008 is expected to be sent to the White House for signature next week. The bill has many critical pay and benefit initiatives for servicemembers including a provision to allow certain members of the National Guard and reserve to retire early. Unfortunately, the provision will leave out more than 600,000 members who have been mobilized since 9/11. Read the full article at Military.com.
