Remember the Dress Code

The Marine Corps has been cracking down on the wearing of improper, civilian attire at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton during the hot, summer months to assure civilian attire is worn in accordance with Marine Corps Order P1020.34G. Basic standards of dress for civilian clothing worn by all servicemembers, civilian employees, family members and guest on the base are: (1) clothing should be clean, well maintained and properly fitted, not frayed or ripped, tight or revealing; and (2) attire should be worn to present a neat, orderly appearance and should not reveal the midsection or undergarments. Hats should be removed while indoors, and athletic attire should only be worn while in a gym facility or during physical training and for sport activities.
