Program Helps Single Soldiers

The Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) program supports single Soldiers by improving their quality of life and ensuring that the voice of the single Soldier is heard in all processes. Single Soldiers can participate in the program to enhance their well being, contribute to their community through community service activities, and assist in the planning and execution of their own recreation and leisure events. Single Soldiers comprise more than 45 percent of the Army population and BOSS now has 82 programs throughout the continental United States, Europe, Korea and the Pacific region.
