In early October, Express Scripts received a letter from an unknown person or persons trying to extort money from the company. The letter threatened to expose millions of the company's members' records on the Internet if the extortion threat was not met. Express Scripts notified the FBI immediately after receiving the letter, and there is an official investigation underway. The company has also launched its own investigation and is unaware of misuse of any members' information. To stay updated on this situation, visit the Express Scripts Supports website. Express Scripts is the provider for the TRICARE Mail Order Pharmacy Program and the DoD TRICARE Retail Pharmacy Program.
