The Peanut Butter Recalls Continue

Several manufacturers with products that include peanut ingredients from the Peanut Corporation of America (PCA)  announced voluntary recalls because these products have the potential to be contaminated with salmonella. The FDA and other regulatory agencies have indicated that PCA is the focus of their investigation concerning a recent Salmonella outbreak thought to be caused by tainted peanut butter. Consumers are asked not to each the affected products. As a result, the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) removed the recalled products from its store shelves. A listing of the recalled products is available in PDF format. Commissary customers can return any of these products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
