Operation Wheels of Freedom
Week of July 30, 2007
Operation Wheels of Freedom brings high performance American-made vehicles to the troops for a hands-on look. It also provides them the opportunity to develop safer driving habits. The organization sponsors exciting driving events on military bases. Considering the high rate of vehicle-related injury and death among active-duty personnel returning from deployment, the program is more important than just the entertainment value. Operation Wheels of Freedom also is available to family members. For more information, visit the Operation Wheels of Freedom website at http://www.operationwheelsoffreedom.com/.
