Jeannie Benton, a 51-year-old female, is seeking pledges for Operation Life Transformed by pursuing her first cross-country bike ride -- exceeding 3,600 miles. Her ride started June 21, 2009 from Oregon and will end on Aug. 10, 2009 in New Hampshire. Operation Life Transformed is an organization that provides education and resources to war wounded caregivers and military spouses, promotes increase awareness of the long-term needs of these families, and supports the caregiver and military spouse as they re-enter the civilian sector.
