Operation Interdependence Offers C-Rats
Week of November 27, 2006
The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System is pleased to announce a new partnership with Operation Interdependence (OI) a national non-profit organization that provides each deployed service man or woman with Civilian Rations (C-rats) once a month during their entire regular scheduled deployment. C-rats are quart-sized plastic baggies that contain items such as snacks, personal care products and most importantly a letter of well wishes from a thoughtful person back home. This partnership with VA will create a distribution center on the campus of the VA Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center. Making it OI's 15th location nationally, and their third Distribution Center in California. Visit the Operation Interdependence website to learn more about OI and how you can help.
