Because the Warrior Transition Unit population has doubled in the past year to more than 12,000, and while these Soldiers still receive the best care possible, this has created some management challenges. The Army announced plans to increase staffing, revise WTU admission, and exit criteria and streamline Medical and Physical Evaluation Boards.
