The Navy Office of Women's Policy launched the Navy Women E-Mentoring Pilot to provide mentoring support for women in environments where female mentors are scarce. Mentors and proteges are encouraged to enroll during the open enrollment period, Oct. 1-31, 2008. Additional enrollments periods will commence every six months. Mentors will enroll Oct.1-15, 2008, and proteges (mentees) will enroll Oct. 16-31, 2008. To participate, visit the Academy Women website. When the pilot goes live in October, members will then receive an e-mail initiating the e-mentoring process.
