North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory has signed a law that will make more veterans eligible for in-state tuition at public colleges and universities. The law will waive the 12-month residency requirement for veterans who served at least 90 days of service, live in North Carolina and intend to establish residence in the state. Veterans must enroll within three years of serving.
