Navy Spouses List Top Challenges
Week of June 04, 2007
Concern for the deployed Sailors' safety, children's coping issues and acting as a "single" parent were the top three challenges listed by participants in the Spouses of Navy Individual Augmentees (IA) Survey results released this month. The survey asked respondents about the most and the least satisfying aspects of the IA experience. The results will be used to evaluate family quality of life and readiness needs during future IA assignments. For more information on family support topics, visit the Navy Personnel Commands' Family Support and Relocation Assistance website.
