Applications are currently being sought for the Navy's Olmsted Scholar Program, which provides up to one year of foreign language study and two years of graduate study using that language at a foreign university. A Navy selection board will convene in October 2008 to select nominees. Active-duty, regular or reserve commissioned line officers with certain qualifications may apply for the program. Address applications packages with command endorsement to the Command Officer, Naval Education and Training Professional Development and Technology Center, Attn: CODE N2A2, 6490 Saufley Field Road, Pensacola, Fla. 32509-5204.
