The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS) recently announced that servicemembers are now eligible for two of the Society's quick-assist loans ( QALs) in their careers. The QAL current limit is $300. To obtain a QAL, servicemembers must visit one of the society's full-service centers and bring a copy of their Leave and Earning Statement (LES) and their identification card to apply. They may also expedite the process by filling out an application available online. While the new policy limits, NMCRS' many other loan products and services remain available to not only active-duty servicemembers but also to spouses, reservists and retirees.
