Fleet and Industrial Supply Center personal property shipping offices (PPSO) in Puget Sound, Wash., Naples, Italy, and San Diego, have begun piloting the Defense Personal Property System (DPS), a new Web-based system for arranging household goods (HHG) moves. Eligible HHG shipments moving between these three FISC,PPSOs and the other 18 pilot sites throughout the Department of Defense will be processed in DPS. Shipments not moving between the pilot sites will continue to be processed through DoD's current moving program, Transportation Operational Personal Property Standard System (TOPS). DPS is part of a new DoD personal property program called Families First. For more information, visit the DPS homepage, or contact one of the DPS pilot sites.
