Navy Leadership Award Nominations
Week of March 31, 2008
The Navy is seeking nominations for the 2008 Captain Joy Bright Hancock (JBH) Leadership Awards, which are co-sponsored by the Sea Service Leadership Association (SSLA) and the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA). The criteria includes inspirational, innovative, and imaginative leadership demonstrated by example both on and off duty. Candidates must be nominated by their commanding officers or officers-in-charge. Nominations are due by May 15, 2008 and should be submitted to Director, MPTE Policy Division (N13), Attn: Lt. Hope Brill (OPNAV N134), 2 Navy Annex, Washington DC 20370. Award winners will be selected by June 13, 2008 and their names posted on the Sea Service Leadership Association website.
