Navy Exchange Back-to-School Sales

Many Sailors and their families are currently planning and purchasing for the new school year. For most stores within the Navy Exchange (NEX) system, back-to-school sales have already started. Back-to-school sales are a major source of funding for the Navy Exchange, accounting for more than 30 percent of the business for the year. The Navy offers other programs to help families make the transition from summer to school: The Navy Child & Youth Programs, Fleet & Family Support Centers, and The Navy-Marines Corps Relief Society, which operates thrifts shops at several bases that enable servicemembers and their families to purchase used clothing and other items at a nominal cost.
