Navy E-7 - E-9 Continuation Board News

A performance-based board for continuation of senior enlisted Sailors recently convened at Navy Personnel Command (NPC). The Fiscal Year 2012 Senior Enlisted Continuation Board (SECB) will review records of approximately 7,700 personnel in pay grades E-7, E-8 and E-9 for continued service. Commanding officers will be notified of the results via BUPERS Online and will have seven days to notify and counsel those Sailors not selected for retention. After seven days, Sailors may review their individual status on BUPERS Online. Sailors not selected for continuation must transfer to the fleet reserve or retire by Sept. 30, 2012 and will have access to the Navy's Transition Assistance Management Program.
