Navy Career Counselor Rating Realigned

The Navy Career Counselor (NC) rating has been realigned this fall from the Center for Service Support (CSS) to the new Center for Personal and Professional Development (CPPD). CPPD, formerly known as the Center for Personal Development (CPD), is a merger of the Center for Career Development (CCD) in Millington, Tenn., and CPD located on Dam Neck base in Virginia Beach, Va. Despite the magnitude and significance of the merger, the transition should be seamless to fleet Sailors. All resources available through Navy Knowledge Online (NKO) are still easily available. The Command Career Counselors' NKO tools are now under the Career Development tab on (NKO), and the Navy Counselors' tools are found under the Personal Development tab.
