Join the Navy Band Oct. 17 at 8 p.m. to celebrate the Navy's 234th birthday at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington. The theme of this year's concert is "Total Force... Total Performance." The Concert Band will be joined on stage by ensembles and soloists from the Sea Chanters chorus, the Cruisers contemporary entertainment ensemble, and Country Current, a country-bluegrass ensemble. The concert is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. To receive up to four free tickets, send a self-addressed, stamped, business-sized envelope to: Navy Birthday Tickets, U.S. Navy Band, P.O. Box 70271, Washington, DC 20024-0271. Requests will be accepted through Oct. 10. Please allow one to three weeks for delivery. All ticket requests are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
