The Navy's RADM William Thompson Awards Program recognizes the best command public affairs programs in the active-duty Navy. The RADM Robert A. Ravitz Awards Program recognizes the best command public affairs programs in the Naval Reserve community. Detailed information on the awards is available at the Naval Media Center website. Deadline for entry submissions for the Thompson and Ravitz Awards is April 25, 2008. Entries are encouraged for Navy personnel and programs that produced outstanding Navy communication products over the past year.
