Naval Medical Center Needs Blood
Week of August 06, 2007
The Naval Medical Center of San Diego reports an urgent need for donations of AB and O negative blood types. Active-duty military, reservists, dependants, retirees and government employees may donate to the medical center every 56 days - all donations go to direct military affiliates. Personnel recently returning from deployment may not be eligible to donate for 12 months after returning to the U.S. depending on the location of their deployment. For more information, or to donate, contact Doreen Rekoski at 619-532-6651. To make an appointment online, visit www.militaryblood.dod.mil.
