Microsoft Launches Initiative

Microsoft Corp. announced an initiative to support active duty servicemembers who are transitioning out of the military as well as members of the National Guard and Reserves who are returning to their civilian jobs. The initiative, a part of Microsoft's Elevate America program, will bring together a coalition of public, private and nonprofit organizations to help veterans and their spouses returning to the civilian work force. Microsoft has pledged to donate up to $2 million in cash and $6 million in software to the program over the next two years. For more information, visit the Microsoft Elevate America webpage.
