The Marine Corps fiscal year 2007 broken service selective reenlistment bonus (BSSRB) program provides prior service Marines who possess critical skills a monetary incentive to resume their careers in the Marine Corps. The fiscal 2007 BSSRB program has expanded from 2006's program to increase the acceptable break in service to four years. Prior Marines reenlisting under this program will retain the grade held at the time of discharge. Reenlisting Marines can receive up to $60,000 as broken service selective reenlistment bonus under this program.
