Malt-O-Meal Products Recalled

The Malt-O-Meal Company issued a voluntary recall for certain packets of its Maple & Brown Sugar Instant Oatmeal. As a result the Defense Commissary Agency has removed the following recalled product from its shelves: Mom's Best Natural Maple & Brown Sugar Instant Oatmeal (15.2 oz, UPC: 042400015120). DeCA consumers should look on the product cartons for carton date codes that are between March 6, 2010 and April 26, 2010. Consumers who purchased affected products should not consume them and are urged to return them to their place of purchase for a full refund. A comprehensive list of affected products is available on the Mom's Best Naturals website. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 1-877-665-9331 Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Central time.
