The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry recently announced its new Homegrown by Heroes program, which will help consumers identify a product as one that is grown in Louisiana and by a military veteran. Also, there will be marketing materials available that will help enhance the veterans' visibility to better market these products. Veterans can be gardening as a hobby or farming as a career.
