If your American Legion post's band or color guard wants to compete at the national convention in Cincinnati this August, time is running out to apply. Entries for the Band Contest at the 98th National Convention are due to National Headquarters by May 31. Entries for the Color Guard Contest are due by July 22. Color Guard and Concert Band entries must march in the National Convention Parade on Sunday, Aug. 28. Download the forms on the American Legion 2016 Convention Information webpage.
